A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Hank man is a game based on Hang Man, a classic paper game where two people or more participate and try to guess a given word.

In this game, a word is chosen by the computer and you have six attempts to guess it. Each time, you try to enter a letter that is in the word. If the letter is in the word, it will appear where it would be. Otherwise, a limb will appear on the hang, slowly forming a stickman.

Example here.

Hopefully you get the point. The less errors you make, the more money you earn by the end of the game. You can buy cosmetics with that money inside the shop.

Good luck.

Install instructions

Steps to follow once you've downloaded the Installer...

WINDOWS:

1. Run the installer

2. Select the directory you want your game to be in.

3. Click "Install"

4. Find the directory you chose and open the folder called "Hank man"

5. Run "hank_man.exe", and you're ready to play :)

* IMPORTANT *

If you see this when you're trying to open the game/installer:

"Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk."

That means that your computer doesn't recognize the game and can't confirm that it's safe. Of course, the game is safe, but you can always click on "Don't run" if that bothers you. Otherwise, you can click on "More info" and then "Run anyway".

MAC:

To run Hank Man on Mac, you'll need to copy the .APP file into the .DMG file to your Application folder.

To do this, you need to open your Finder and open the Applications folder. Then, drag the file inside the folder.

Currently, Hank man is only available for Apple Silicon Macs (Macs with M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, M1 Ultra or M2 processors). Hank man for Intel Macs is unfortunately unavailable at the moment.
